"You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya, punk?"

[Quote from Dirty Harry-1971{and yes I just looked that up}]
The time has come again! The event that many like to call March Madness (despite the fact that a decent chunk now takes place in April) is here. Now, every year the analysts look for a human interest story or two to throw around. That way all of you I-have-no-interest-whatsoever-in-this-I'm-just-watching-because-everyone-else-is people can hear something stimulating. One story that I originally heard from my brother, but now has been put out in other places as well, is the tale of Central Connecticut State guard Javier Mojica. Mojica, at the age of ten (a different story had it at nine) saved his mother from commiting suicide. His mother was being abused heavily by her boyfriend and was comprehending the question "To be or not to be" when young Javier persuaded her otherwise. He went on to become a walk-on (non-scholarship) player who ended up Conference Player Of The Year. My question: Why do we care???? This has nothing to do with basketball! I'm now thinking of telling my friends all about my facial rash problems every time we step out on the court. Have you ever had facial rash? That is some serious adversity! I propose that if these networks focused more on the core game stories (with occasional cheering family shots mixed in) people would appreciate it. That said GO JAVIER! I LOVE CENTRAL CONNECTICUT STATE! WOOOOO! My real favorite other teams include the Mean Green of North Texas, the Great Danes of Albany and my #1 team: The Nevada Wolfpack! Featuring Nick Fazekas! (If you're watching you'll know his name soon) Besides, what better way to pick teams than nicknames, lip soreness, and quotes from Hamlet. There are no experts in the NCAA tournament just a whole lot of fun. That's why I'll be waiting fervently for a tournament, in a sport which I pay little to no attention to year round. Because the Tourney isn't just for sports fans. It's for anyone who's willing to make a bracket despite lack of any useful knowledge. It's for females who'll jump in a pool for the heck of it and end up winning. In short, it's for anyone who just wants some good clean entertaining fun.

We apologize for any harm caused to non-sports fans from reading this post. We, however, take no responsibility for any boredom related injuries such as cricked neck, eye glazeover or fatal heart attack (chas v'shalom) caused by tthe reading of said above post. Thank You.
